From an early age, I knew I did win the genetic lottery to play football but it has always been something I’ve been extremely passionate about. I attended my first NFL game when I was less than a year old and was fortunate to grow up in a city with an NFL team where I regularly had the opportunity to attend games.
I started this blog when I was a freshman in high school as blogging was really starting to take off. Now I am in my fourth year of college and am proud of having an outlet I’ve been committed for almost a decade that continues to grow. It has been a great experience as I have been able to make friends with similar interests along with meeting people in the industry that I could network with along with dozens of NFL players.
Some of my work has been seen on Yardbarker (was one of their top NFL contributors from 2007-09), the Jacksonville Jaguars website (covering the Pro Bowl when it was in Miami as a result of winning a fan contest) along with “The Daily Backcourt” where I have cover another sport I’m very passionate about in basketball.
I hope you enjoy reading these articles as much as I enjoy writing them. From writing about the NFL for the past eight years I feel like I’ve become a smarter fan. Even if one person decides to become a bigger football fan or starts to look at the game differently from reading these posts, the time I’ve put in over the years would be worth it to me.
Thanks again for reading and if you have a question or a topic you think I should cover, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
