Week 11 Predictions

Tampa Bay Buccaneers v Pittsburgh SteelersLast week was a solid one for my predictions as I went over .500 against the spread and was decent on my regular picks. This week has all the makings of a great one. Playoff positioning is on the line and there are some fantastic matchups to boot. When we look back on the 2014 season, some of these games have the potential to be huge turning points for a lot of teams around the league.

Last week: 8-5 , Season: 98-49

Last week against the spread: 8-5, Season: 76-71

Game of the weak: Buccaneers vs Redskins: Unless you are a fan of a team in this game or a degenerate gambler,  there isn’t much reason to watch this one. If there is any reason, it is Buccaneers rookie receiver Mike Evans. After a slow start to his career, he has been fantastic as of late. With sky high potential, it will be interesting to watch him develop the rest of the season. Buccaneers 20 Redskins (-7.5) 26

Game of the week: Patriots vs Colts: There were a lot of quality options I could have gone with in this slot. However it was impossible to pass up a Tom Brady/Andrew Luck showdown that could determine the two seed in the AFC. Both of these teams are coming in scorching hot. The Patriots are winners of their last five while the Colts have won six of their last seven. This one has a ton of shootout potential, but in the end I’m going with Brady and his veteran defense that has had two weeks to prepare. Patriots 33 Colts (-3.5) 28

Vikings 23 Bears (-3.5) 28

Texans 20 Browns (-3.5) 24

Seahawks 21 Chiefs (-2.5) 24

Falcons 21 Panthers (+1.5) 17

Bengals 23 Saints (-7.5) 31

Broncos 34 Rams (+9.5) 17

49ers 27 Giants (+4.5) 23

Raiders 17 Chargers (-10.5) 35

Eagles 27 Packers (-6.5) 38

Lions 20 Cardinals (-1.5) 23

Steelers 26 Titans (+6.5) 17
