Week 12 Predictions

Last week was another sub-par week for predictions and it is starting to seem like it will be tough getting on the right track. ManningBradyOn a positive note, struggling with predictions is a sign that this season has and will continue to showcase the parody of the league. With nearly every team in the AFC still in the wildcard hunt while ten teams in the NFC have a winning percentage of  .500 or better. This is the last week of byes but it is still a full slate of football that should be very exciting.

Last week: 8-7, Season: 97-65

Last week against the spread: 6-9,Season: 67-95

Game of the weak: Jaguars vs Texans:  After just mentioning that all but a few teams are out of it in the AFC, here is a matchup between two who are out of contention. The last time these two teams played in Houston it actually ended up being a very exciting game but now it is just a chance for Case Keenum to continue auditioning for the Texans starting quarterback job.  Jaguars 13 Texans(-10.5) 26

Game of the week: Broncos vs Patriots: You may not have heard about this, but Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are facing off again. Like usual, this one has the potential to be a very high scoring affair. Manning will be going up against a Patriots secondary that’s been decimated by injuries while Brady finally has all of his weapons healthy on offense. Here’s to hoping this game doesn’t come down to a controversial no call on the game’s last play.  Broncos 31 Patriots (+2.5) 27

Steelers 23 Browns(-1.5) 20
