Week Three Predictions

Last week was an average one for my predictions as in week two it was still hard to figure out what teams are fully capable of. I was right on regarding the Lions/49ers and Broncos/Falcons games but was way off on the Cowboys/Seahawks and Cardinals/Patriots. With a record 20 teams sitting at 1-1 through two weeks, it looks as if this NFL season could have more parody than ever before.

Week two results:

Last week: 9-7, Season: 18-14

Last week against the spread: 6-10, Season: 13-19

Game of the weak: Jets vs Dolphins: The winner of this game will be leading the AFC East but it could also set the passing game back ten years. Jets 20 Dolphins (+2.5) 13

Game of the week: Patriots vs Ravens: It’s a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game as both teams are coming off tough losses. The Ravens offense is much improved since their last matchup and against a Patriots team that has new personnel on defense and a weaker offensive line, it should be very interesting to watch. Patriots 23 Ravens (-3.5) 27

Rams 17 Bears (-7.5) 24

49ers 26 Vikings (+7.5) 16

Bengals 20 Redskins (-3.5) 27

Buccaneers 20 Cowboys (-7.5) 24

Chiefs 23 Saints (-9.5) 34

Bills 24 Browns (+3.5) 14

Jaguars 17 Colts (-3.5) 23

Lions 26 Titans (+3.5) 20

Falcons 27 Chargers (-3.5) 23

Eagles 21 Cardinals (+3.5) 24

Texans 23 Broncos (+2.5) 17

Steelers 27 Raiders (+4.5) 16

Packers 24 Seahawks (+3.5) 17
